Using Quinoa Flour in baking?
I was out shopping and there was a bag of Organic Quinoa flour on sale for $3. On a whim, I decided to buy it.
Is it used like normal flour? Does it give things a different taste (I know someone who always bakes things with spelt flour. I’m not sure if it’s due to the spelt flour, but his stuff always tastes gross)?

Do I use it just completely in place of the wheat flour? Or am I supposed to do half/half? And do I use the same amount?
It will react differently. Spelt is a type of wheat, and it has gluten. Quinoa does not have gluten, so it will not form strands of gluten when you knead dough.
You can replace about half of wheat flour, if you want to.
